Children's Programs
The Early Literacy Station™ (ELS) is designed specifically for our youngest patrons ages 2-8 and features over 4,000 learning activities. The fun, interactive and engaging content spans all seven curricular areas: math, science & nature, social studies & geography, reading, art & music, writing & computer skills, and reference. The ELS is available in English and Bilingual Spanish.
These stations were first made possible by generous donor, Shirley Marcy. Further funding from a grant and donation from Idaho Community Foundation and STEM Action Center has allowed us to add several new workstations, expanding to include ages 6-12 with the The AfterSchool Edge Station™.
Craft and Education Kits
We offer a variety of themed craft kits "Storytime In A Bag" to help facilitate language and early literacy skills. The kits are meant to introduce, enhance, or review topics for early readers through books, activities, coloring pages and crafts. Each kit contains all the necessary supplies and instructions for completing a themed project.
We also have a variety of Education Kits. From STEM topics, early literacy skills, history, and geography, our Education Kits can help. Each kit contains a variety of education material such as books, games, flashcards, science experiment supplies, and models.
